What are your opening hours?
Our preschools are open from 9.00am – 12.noon Monday to Friday, with the exception of our Naíonra class which opens from 12:20 -3:20pm. Please contact us for more information on Office: (+353) 1-841-5044, Mobile: (+353) 86-348-4542
Are your staff qualified?
Our caring, talented team of childcare professionals are Garda vetted and hold a minimum of FETAC level 5. Under new government law, all childcare workers must be qualified to FETAC level 5 by December 2016 and we are fully compliant with this regulation. We actively encourage our team to maintain the highest qualifications and they receive continuous training and mentoring whilst working with Helga’s Preschool.
Do you offer a settling period for children?
Yes, we offer a settling in period of one week to help parent and child to adjust to their routine. Our supportive teams are great for advice so don’t hesitate to discuss with them any worries you might have.
Do you close for the holidays
We close during the Halloween, Summer and Easter breaks. We close for public bank holidays, Good Friday and for a period over Christmas.
How are fees paid
Fees are calculated per calendar month, are paid monthly in advance, and are payable by the first of the month.
Is a deposit required?
Yes we will require a €50 deposit in order to secure a child’s place. This deposit is refundable in accordance with our admissions policy. Places will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Due to unprecedented demand for places at Helga’s Preschool’s a requirement is necessary for early confirmation of place booking for the period Sept 2018 to June 2019.
Are you registered to provided the Early Child Care and Education Scheme (ECCE)?
Yes all of our centres provide this service. However an ECCE only option is not available in all centres. Please contact our enquiries team for more information on this scheme and the centres that provide it.
What are the ratios of carers to children in your preschool?
