      My name is Helga Sweetman. I was born in Limerick. I moved to Skerries, Co. Dublin at the age of seven. I meet a Balbriggan man and was married in 1988. I have three children, two daughters and one son. I opened Helga’s Pre-school in September 1999 with six children. Today I operate three sessional Pre-Schools. Two English speaking and one Naíonra (Irish). Working as a childcare professional allows me the opportunity to provide children with the opportunities to make discoveries about their world by providing them with the time and space to explore. This is my 19th year delivering Helga’s Preschool services and love every minute of it, making the children’s learning experience fun.

      Colette joined our team at Helga’s preschool in 2015, she has managed our Balscadden preschool where she enjoys caring for children aged 2 1/2 years to 5 years, She has studied and taken many courses in early years education which includes FETAC level 6, she enjoys providing a curriculum that encourages children to be active participants in their own learning.

      Pauline Whelan is a mother of 4 and a grandmother of 4 she has worked in Helga’s preschool since 2005 during this time she has studied many courses in child care and complete her FETAC level 5 she enjoys caring for and most importantly playing with the children and watching them grow

      My name is Rebecca. I have completed my level 5 and 6 in Early Childhood Care and Education including Special Needs Modules in level 5. I have completed a number of Irish Courses in Conradh na Gaeilge. I have 6 years experience as an Early years practitioner. I am a mother of 2 young girls. As an early years professional I believe we provide the foundations for children moving forward in education. I started working in Helgas Preschool in 2016. I am a Room Leader in the NAOÍNRA in the afternoon session and also an Early Years Practitioner in the morning session.

      My name is Yvonne Boylan. I am the mother of twins. This is my third year working in Helgas Preschool/Naíonra.  I have  successfully completed Fetac  level 5 Childcare and Level 6 Special Needs Assisting.  I love working with children and treat them as if they are my own. I love that no single day is the same and I want to contribute to your children and help them reach their full potential.
